Welcome to the fourth instalment in a series we’re calling ‘Case Studies:’ real, diverse stories from unique events we’ve provided entertainment for. Our goal is to help you solve your entertainment and guest engagement challenges by providing fun, unique solutions to meet your objectives.
This week’s Case Study showcases a unique way to show off a location while igniting teambuilding and having an all around fun time doing it.
The Westin Bayshore wanted to showcase their beautiful meeting space and amenities to local meeting planners in a unique and fun way. They also wanted to include a social media element that would have a shelf-life past the event while creating team bonds between their internal sales staff and guests.
We created a series of fun ‘missions’ based around specific locations around the property. Our facilitators introduced the activity and our actors, stationed at specific points of interest, kept the energy alive and entertained participants with engaging comedic improv.
The guests – broken into teams with a Sales staff delegated to each team – completed these missions by capturing compelling photos and sharing them on the app and on social media.
At the end, everyone gathered together and top teams were announced by one of our actors (Howard Hughes: re-animated and rejuvinated from his stay at the Bayshore). The excitement of the competition coupled with surprise performances and on-the-spot team building made for an incredibly successful event
